DAY 18 –

MYTHOLOGICAL MORALITY 

The problem with humans playing God is that we’re really bad at it. The only morality, right and wrong, we can create is fictitious, a fantasy. Our “new” imaginary morality is just repackaged “old” immorality. The same delusional presumptions that have destroyed past civilizations since the beginning of time. Mythology only seems real until it’s confronted by reality. And reality always shows up at an inconvenient time. Paul the Apostle wrote, “I say this so that no one will deceive you with persuasive [but thoroughly deceptive] arguments.” The Bible’s morality has always been considered outdated and dangerous, and in the years to come, it will be seen as “hate speech.” Nothing new. Man playing God always ends badly. “Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools.”
