CHOOSING LIGHT OVER DARKNESS

Before I gave my heart to Jesus, my life was empty and filled with darkness, much like the beginning of Genesis before God created the world, “The earth was empty, a formless mass cloaked in darkness. And the Spirit of God was hovering over its surface.” As in the creation, God’s Spirit hovered over my empty life. My mother’s prayers pursued me. “Then God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” Choosing light over darkness is always our decision. Without a choice, there can’t be true love. God wants a Bride who desires Him, not a shotgun wedding! When I was a suicidal atheist, God was hovering over my life. Do you have loved ones who are drowning in darkness? God is hovering over their lives. Don’t give up on them, God hasn’t.
