Want To Never Be Disappointed?
Wouldn’t you like to never be disappointed? We all would! But, it will require you coming to terms with what God wants for your life? What’s His motive; His heart; His ultimate intention? It’s important that you and I know this! No parent wants their children to fail in life. We all want them to succeed. Though God’s definition of success and failure are often different than ours, a continual, conscious dependence upon Him will always lead us toward healthy growth and becoming more like Jesus. God the Father is most glorified in us when we are most fruitful in Him. That’s why Jesus came: not to give us the life of our dreams, but the life of His dreams for us. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” The abundant life is not a pipe dream. If you and I let God determine what His abundant life looks like we’ll never be disappointed. Job said, “When God has tested me, I’ll come forth as gold.”
