Losing the Battle For Life
Do you feel like you’re losing the battle for life? A famous general once said that in fierce battle both sides, at one point, feel defeated. But the one who rises for a final surge wins the day. Such is true in war and even in the Christian life. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego prepared their hearts for one final surge of trusting God. They fearlessly told King Nebuchadnezzar that even if God didn’t deliver them, they weren’t going to worship him. “Hey! Put that in your fiery furnace!” Don’t ever say, “But God would never deliver me like that.” If it’s in the Book, one way or another, it’s yours for the believing! If it’s in the script, then, you can trust it’s coming to your schedule. King David, the man after God’s own heart, trusted God and wrote, “This I know God is for me.” God is for you, if you are for Him! “Jesus, I am created to be a winner, not a loser! My future is bright! Help me to trust you, even in the middle of my fierce battles. If I continue to rise to trust You, then You promise that I will win the day.”
