Hosting a Police & Fire Banquet

City Awards Banquets began for police officers and fire fighters serving in Roseville, California in 1999, two years before the 9/11 attack took place in 2001. They have continued every year since, except during the COVID-19 virus crisis of 2020. Firefighters and police officers are still giving their lives in serving their communities, and so an evening of honoring them seems more and more appropriate. Other cities have been encouraged to do the same.
