• No one in God’s eyes is least or on the fringes. Of the ten lepers that Jesus healed, only one came back to give thanks, and he was a Samaritan. When Jesus was asked: “Who is my neighbor?” He shared the parable of the Good Samaritan about a Jewish man who was robbed and beaten. A priest and a levite walked by and did nothing. Once again, it was the fringe Samaritan, the least respected person in the culture, who carried the beaten man to an inn and paid for him to recover.
