Pastor Lance Hahn said, “I asked an African-American brother of mine what the problems were in America today. And he began to explain it to me. I watched his whole body change. I watched his emotions rise up. I watched him begin to tear up, and I felt, ‘Why is there divide between me and him?’ And I found that as we talked, my love for him began to connect me. Began to be the channel where I could feel his emotion, where I could feel his passion. I could feel his pain. And then I determined I have to do something. I cannot allow someone I love this deeply, to hurt this bad, and not do anything about it.”
